Since its inception in 2008 by visionaries Bucky Isaacson and Frank Pusateri, CTAExpo has been dedicated to nurturing professional relationships and facilitating knowledge sharing among allocators, capital raisers, and trading talent across the CTA, Hedge Fund, FX, and alternative management sectors.
Frank S. Pusateri
Managing Partner
Frank S. Pusateri is the managing partner of CTAExpo, which operates conferences designed to foster and identify new trading talent.
CTAEXPO, after ten years of running conferences in Chicago, New York, Miami and London, was shut down during Covid and has now restarted with a conference in Chicago, September 17, 2025
He has held numerous positions in the alternative investment industry including:

President of Adirondack Portfolio management, Inc., a firm that provided consulting on business strategy and marketing to clients specializing in alternative investments.

Vice President, Business Development and Marketing for Fall River Capital, LLC, a registered commodity trading advisor that managed over $300 Million in 2008.

Managing Director of a Commodity Trading Advisor, LaSalle Portfolio Management Inc., where he helped to establish and register an affiliate, Sheridan Investments Inc. as an Investment Advisor to offer yield enhancement programs.

Managing Director of Cotswold Management, Inc. a CPO providing multi-advisor managed futures programs.

Vice President (later Senior Vice President) of Investments for Prudential Securities Inc. where he specialized in the selection of trading advisors for multi-manager futures portfolios for large institutional clients.
Mr. Pusateri’s career in alternative investments started in 1977 when he joined E.F.Hutton where he was responsible for the evaluation and selection of CTAs and the development of the statistical and analytical techniques employed in the selection process.
He has published articles in Managed Futures Today, the Managed Account Reports Yearbook, and two chapters for The Commodity Futures Handbook. He has been a guest speaker on the topic of managed futures on numerous occasions.
He is the past president of the Managed Futures Trade Association and a past director of the Rose-Baratz Literary Foundation and the Foundation for Managed Derivatives Research.
In January 1991, he received the Donchian Award in recognition of his contributions to the managed futures industry.

With over 30 years in the financial services industry, G. Maxwell Eagye has held senior roles in investment management, futures brokerage, and alternative asset allocation. He brings deep expertise in managed futures, strategy due diligence, and portfolio design—grounded in an operational foundation that began on the floors of the CBOT and NYCSCE.
His career includes leadership in sourcing trading talent, clearing operations, the development of institutional portfolios, and advancing industry initiatives like the CTA Challenge. Maxwell remains a respected voice in the evolution of alternative investment solutions across a wide range of client needs.
